Don't let the name confuse you, this is quite the beer mecca. Probably the best place in St Louis for beer. The staff is friendly and can be very helpful. They have a large selection of beers from Belgium, England and Germany, not to mention many other countries in Europe and around the world. The selection of US craft beers is very good. This includes a good number of local and regional brewers to choose from. There are regular beer tastings to introduce you to beers you have never tried or even heard of before. They also allow you to order beers on-line and have them shipped to you if need be. Their prices are quite reasonable for what they offer. Highly recommended

I love this place! I visit this store at least once a week. They have everything you could possibly ever want in beer, wine, and liquor along with all the gourmet foods they stock. If there is an off chance they don't have what you're looking for they will go out of there way to find it for you. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and will help in any way they can. If you're in St. Louis and looking for a favorite beer, wine, bourbon, scotch or you would just like a nice brie and some prosciutto stop by TWCP.

Thorough selection of beer (and wine, bourbon and cheese) - lots of local craft beer available. They also have a great selection of imported beers if you're looking for that. Staff isn't the most helpful - unless you're one of the regulars they know. Still, a great place to go for good craft beer

This is easily the best beer, wine, whiskey, and gourmet food store in St. Louis. If you are looking for a well curated selection of beer, wine, scotch, bourbon, spirits, candy, cheese, dips, or other gourmet snacks and small foods, this is your destination. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable as well.

Specifically talking about beer, they have a tremendous selection of local craft, national craft, international, and macro brands. Basically, if the distro is available, they have it. They also have a rewards club, the BRC, which is free to join and how they allocate limited products.

Overall, this is pretty much the only beer and liquor store you need to know in St. Louis. Sure, other stores have quality and selection as well, but this store has something for everyone in the most literal sense possible.

The selection and the people make this the greatest bottle shop I know. Paul, who runs the shop, cares deeply about beer and his customers. He does his best to create fair systems to distribute allocated beers, and his barrel-aging partnership with our excellent local breweries is a genius innovation that has turned out some fantastic beers. Plus, the shelf selection alone should please anyone. And they host Friday afternoon tastings to boot! The only thing I'd realistically hope to see them add would be some music (why not?)--and ideally some kind of bottle share series in their nice tasting room. Really a great shop!
