I had this on draft 10/25/23 @ Half Acre.
Semi-opaque yellow/orange appearance.
Nice off-white head; strong, frothy lacing remained.
Artisanal soap, soft wheat & faint lemon notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Dry wheat, soap & faint lemon flavors.
The smelled nice, but was a bit too harsh on the palate.
Certainly drinkable, though.

On tap:
A lightly hazed golden body with a solid white cap, loads of lacing. An herbal grain bread is what hits my nose, with a bit of nectarine of tangerine (or something slightly tart and fruit-like) way in the background. Taste starts a bit grainy, including in the feel, oddly enough. A somewhat copper metallic note lingers for a second in the middle, before an herbal and fresh cut grass bitterness slowly grows strength into the finish. A little unbalanced to the bitter side, which I don’t mind, but I am missing a more bread-like opening for the hops to play against.

Clear straw color with a slight haze to it! Foamy and soapy white head. Good retention and lacing.
Aroma of bell pepper, grass, lemon, hay, crackers, white pepper.
Snap of lemon and bell pepper upfront, grass, crackers, slight honey sweetness, hay, lemon pepper on the finish. Fairly dry. Snappy carbonation. Clean. Lingering grassy and zesty bell pepper.
Excellent pilsner. Would 100% buy again and recommend it. Refreshing and tasty as hell.

Above average compared to your average US brewery. When compared to the best such as Moonlight Reality Czech, it's just a little too lite, lacks some bite, but then again it's a German style and I believe the Czech style is brewed with more hops. A dry hay-like aspect on the back end. Overall good for the price point. Very good lacing so they must know what they're doing. Would recommend.

This one is a typical pilsner. Light, crisp, refreshing. There’s a subtle hoppy pine taste to it too. There is a sweetness to this that borders on being a touch too sweet. There is a little bit of spice to it also. Nice job by Half Acre
