Cooper's is a neighborhood pub, with 7 TVs, a pool table, and a low key vibe. The beer list is good, with around 20 taps and a well chosen selection. The beers are mostly local, with a few surprising offerings. Prices are good. The food is pub grub, just OK, but not better than that. Overall, I might come here again if I was looking for a place to watch a game, but there are much better places for beer and food in the area.

Cooper's is a nice little sports bar with a long history of supporting craft beer in Seattle. Today, its count of 20 taps fall into the category of "average" for most bars, but the offerings still focus on local and regional brews. If you're in the Maple Leaf area, it's not a bad choice if you're looking for a decent selection of beers.

Atmosphere-wise, it's basically a sports bar with lots of TVs, dart boards and pool tables. That said, it's remarkably clean and new-looking inside, which is great considering the age of this place. Service was decent enough when I visited, and for food I had the reuben which was, again, decent enough.

Great neighborhood sports bar. Friendly staff that isn't super knowledgeable about beer.
Taps rotate very often and feature lots of IPA's.
The food is very good with great prices.

Cooper's Ale House is a neighborhood ale house that has a college feel but the crowd is a bit older than college students. There are tons of TVs (usually with sports on) and one large screen. It's packed during UW Huskies football games. The music is usually loud. Pool table and darts.

The place is a bit of a dump but at least it's well lit. It's really average in terms of the quality of the place.

The bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. They're not beer geeks and don't really ever offer advice, which is what I want sometimes.

The taplist is extensive, usually filled with PNW and west coast beers. Nothing rare, usually. But, since it's a busy place, the taps get rotated often.

The food is decent pub-style food. The burgers and fries are above average. The fish and chips are sub-average.

Food is reasonably priced as are the pints and pitchers.
