Notes: Eternity spent in a maddening pursuit to perfectly manifest the impossible abstractions of the cosmic order...one's only hope is to greet the sun at dawn and suffer with purpose to accomplish this great work! Small things give inspiration to do so: the saturated aromas of Waimea and Amarillo hops. The rapid nature inspired by the life-giving energy of our beloved star will surely free the world of the boundlessly familiar!

Pours a murky, opaque light orange with soft, fluffy foam.

Smell is citrusy and juicy with notes of mango, pineapple and a hint of licorice.

Taste is juicy with a slight hit of sweetness, along with notes of mango, oranges and pineapple. Solid bitterness with sturdy hop bite and burn, and some licorice hints on the finish.

Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, well carbonated.

Overall, a really nice IPA, soft and juicy, but with plenty of kick.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on December 8, 2018. Brewed with Waimea and Amarillo hops. Hazy straw color with a nice full feel.

Foreign Objects Beer Company "Sol In Gemini"
1 Pint can, "CANNED ON: 11/13/2018 #50234 12:43", and sampled on 12/22/2018
Contract brewed in Pottstown, PA (most likely by Sly Fox)
$4.99 @ Knightly Spirits O.B.T., Orlando, FL

Look: Cloudy, milky yellow-gold body beneath a fluffy head of bright white. Better than average head retention and lacing.

Smell: The aroma is citrusy with some tangerine/orange, grapefruit, and a light bit of pine over a basic, sweetish and grainy malt base.

Taste: As the aroma suggests an orange/tangerine/grapefruit and citrus pith flavor is at the center supported by a basic, golden, sweetish and grainy malt base. Some pine lends an edge but doesn't go further. A firm bitterness balances it and it finishes dry. At 7.5% abv the alcohol never really shows but does make its presence known.

Feel: Medium leaning heavily towards medium-light in body and gently crisp and effervescent then smooth across the palate.

Overall: Refreshingly citrusy but balanced by a springy malt base, and braced by a firm bitterness that lets you know you're still drinking an IPA.

Draft pour into a brandy shifter
What a turgid messy looking beer as if muddy but golden.
Tons of hops in the nose.
The taste is complicated by waves of differing hop flavors, herbal and bitter,
The malt is light. The taste grows on you and before you know it the glass is empty.
The mouthfeel is pretty solid with all that stuff in it.

16 oz can, dated 11/14/18 - so 3 weeks old - bought from the fridge at the store last week.

super hazy, opaque, light yelllow in color. white head that then fades. so not that great looking. pretty good hop aroma - apricot, papaya, but could be bolder. taste is similar, but the bitterness is a bit astrigent, a bit of a burn in the throat. Too much trub? otherwise the mouthfeel is good.

overall a bit disappointed in this one with the hop burn - compared to the other beers I've had from them.

L: Pours a hazy yellow color with about 2 fingers of head and minimal lacing. Looks like a glass of juice.
S: Papaya is the first thing on the nose to hit me. Mango, passionfruit, and orange follow with some hints of pine.
T: Papaya and passionfruit again with some hints of orange and spicy biterness on the finish
F: Medium carbonation with a creamy, soft mouthfeel
O: A good New England style IPA using waimea and amarillo hops. I'd like to try a similar beer from them with some hop varieties that I enjoy more.

A: The beer is very cloudy dark yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that nearly completely faded away, leaving only a minuscule ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy and piney hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of piney hops along with strong notes of orange citrus. Only a faint amount of bitterness is present.
M: It feels medium-bodied and rather juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that piney hops in the smell and taste of this bee made it unique compared to other New England IPAs.

Can dated 11/14/18. Poured into Belgian tulip.
Look is dense pale yellow-orange haze with a white head. Nose is bubble gum, peach, orange pith up front with some earthiness in the back, likely from the Amarillo I’d think, little bit of dankness as well behind all that. Taste is a peach and orange candy through the middle with the earthiness coming up in the end leading into medium-light bitterness, lingering orange. Mouthfeel is medium with fitting medium-low carbonation. Overall nice brew, very tasty stuff. Not a huge Waimea or Amarillo fan in general but this combo of the too works surprisingly, highlights the tasty aspects of both. Good stuff.
