Limpid light gold in color, becoming transparent as the cup empties. Strong orange and spice aroma. Taste is complex, a bit tart with just a hit of bitterness, and lots of notes of spice, especially chamomile. Nicely effervescent and light in body, a perfect summer supper. They are going for an adult soft drink, and they nailed it.

Fermentery Form "Soft"
$14/750 ml green glass bottle at the fermentery
Notes via stream of consciousness: Looks like a witbier. Limited head retention and lacing. Smells clearly of orange, or at least orange zest. There's also some grainy malt, a floral note, and a hint of spice but it's too light to make out what it might be made up of. Tastes like bright orange peel, with spice behind it... maybe cinnamon... perhaps nutmeg? No, I see it's coriander and chamomile. The coriander at least makes sense. Oh, and I guess the chamomile as well, but there's also a kind of cocoa note which is interesting and I can't figure out at all where that's coming from. Maybe I'm imagining it, I must be as there's nothing there that would give that. Light-medium in body with a delicately spritzy effervescent carbonation. Most refined! Very nicely done.
