Fermentery Form is a very small "blendery" where contract brewed beer is fermented and aged in oak barrels. For more information on their solera system you should check out their web page. The tasting room is tiny, but that gives it a more homey, club-house kind of feel. They have three beers on draft (usually), and an assortment of bottles available. Bottles can be consumed on premesis or taken to go, same price. On my last visit I think there were 9 choices in all. The beers are all interesting, and some are quite good. Again, I'll refer you to their website to get a better idea of what they're doing. Occasionally they have a "cheese guy" in with a selection of stuff to sample and buy. I've never seen that before, and although I've never bought any, I think it's a great idea. Many of their beers are kind of vinous and would pair nicely with a bit of cheese. Finally, it's a little bit hard to find so google map it or use GPS. It's down an alley behind Keystone Mini-Golf. As an added bonus, it's not far from Evil Genius or Saint Benjamin Brewing Co.

When you pull up to the alley that this brewery is located in, you will think "I'm either going to Narnia or to get mugged." They seem to be intentionally lacking clear signs. Once inside the vibe is an old Belgian style- brick, barrels, highlighting the space's former life I assume. The space was fairly small, seating for around 20 people. Service was friendly and helpful. The beer itself was very good, alot of interesting variations on wild ales. That being said, there are only wild ales. I wouldn't suggest this spot if you are bringing someone who doesn't enjoy the style. I'd love to return to see how this place progresses.

Located in a back alleyway of downtown Philly, look for the green light by the door to know if they're open or not. Inside there is a small tap room with about 3-4 beers available on draft. They have about 5-6 beers in bottles that you can enjoy on premise and about 5-6 others you can take out. The guys who work there seem cool as hell, just regular dudes who seem to enjoy beer quite a bit. The place fills up quick so be aware of that when visiting. Overall it's a cool spot and plan to go back someday.
