Great location on the south bank of the Thames near London Bridge.
Currently a Greene King host pub with a good draft range.
Several levels of seating with multiple bars for quick service all around. Main bar has stools with pub tables. Cozy downstairs bar for private conversation, and a rooftop with inside leather couches and chairs and outside fourtops for the irregular sun like days and a view of the Thames.
Service is attentive and friendly.
Food is quite good.
The Anchor sits on land that has been used for a bar or brewery for several hundred years and it is still a perfect fit.
