Described on the lable of the 330ml can as 'Amarillo Golden Ale'. From the above pic of the bottle it seems to be the same, though that isn't too clear from this beers name at the top of it's entry here.
L - Pale amber, pours with a *very* slight haze. Started with a 3mm white head that very quickly cleared to lacing, then effectively nothing. Almost zero rising carbonation.
S - I fail to get any aroma from this at all, which is a surprise.
T - Zesty, hoppy/dry, and overall comes over as rather thin for the hoppiness. Swig2 does bring some late malt balance near the end; ie the 2nd impression is better.
M - It is just over to the dryer side, but isn't a fashionable 'hop-bomb'; ie I like that. It is balanced for me and would suit those who want a lighter ABV beer with a solid but not OTT hop profile. There is satisfactory carbonation in the mouth.
O - A hoppier lighter ABV% beer. Maybe something's up with my nose/palette today but I'm unable to get the tangerine or any citrus edge from it. It's drinkable enough, but I'd choose for this in say summer, rather than late Oct when 'Siberian weather' has just arrived in London (Note: Of course it was my choice to buy it this week, so I will try not to let this observation be reflected in any way in my rating).

500ml bottle - brewed by Meantime Brewery for M&S
Look: Pours a deep, golden yellow with an initially big, frothy head. Head retention is poor, and dissipates quickly to a foam ring and some surface coating.
Smell: Hoppy, as you'd expect, with a faint undercurrent of roasted malt. The smell is typically citrusy, although there's more of a hint of orange and/or tangerine than you'd normally expect - this is (apparently) characteristic of the Amarillo hop and gives it a rather nice, sweet edge.
Taste: Rather more subdued taste - a lot of the hop zing just isn't there although some of the initial sweetness is. Granted, there's some maltiness and a hint of citrus but otherwise everything falls fairly flat.
Feel: Decent carbonation, but mouthfeel straddles the line between 'light-bodied' and 'watery'. Admittedly, it's a fairly low ABV, but even so it lacks body.
Overall: Refreshing enough in its own way, but if this is representative of what a single-hop Amarillo beer is like then I'm pretty unimpressed. The jury is out, and whilst I'd be happy to try another Amarillo-based beer I'm not sure I'd knowingly go for this again - a decent enough session beer if you fancy something a bit different, but otherwise not really worth the effort. Not in drain-pour territory by any means, just rather bland.

Golden body, big frothy but quickly disappearing white head
The aroma isn't good, sweat & Shandy Bass
The flavour is honey, citrus and finished with a swift bitter aftertaste.
Okay, certainly not terrible
just not a great showcase for the hop
