Located in a quaint fishing square with a nautical look. smallish bar, beer garden out in front, beers were good, but the food was good too., go at less peak times.

All of the IPAs tasted very wheaty, but was not described as such. Pier Head and Black River Brown were OK. Flights are over priced.

I was underwhelmed. On a flight of five beers, I enjoyed the saison but the rest were not very good although few were terrible. I had a salad, the chicken was very dry. And the service was not good; even though I was literally the only customer present for much of my stay, the server never checked In with me; and it took a long time to get my check. I see other higher ratings, so perhaps my experience was atypical. But I was unimpressed.

My wife and I stopped at this new brewery to try their beers and to have lunch. The place is located on the lower level of a boardwalk at the end of a row of small shops in this touristy area. On-street parking and a city lot just down the street are available. An area in front of the pub has 8-10 tables with umbrellas for some nice outdoor seating, and the interior is well-appointed for a brewpub setting. We arrived around 12:30 on a Friday afternoon and the place was not busy. The tourist season is winding down.
The brewery had 10 beers on tap, plus another 10 guest beers including 3 ciders. Another 10 'domestic' beers are available in bottles/cans. We ordered a sampler flight of 5 of their beers to go along with our lunch. Each of the beers was brewed to style, although we both detected a slight smokiness in the Irish Stout which was not mentioned in the beer's description. I don't know if smoke is something that is frequently found in this style or not, but it didn't detract from the beer itself. None of the beers stood out, and I think that's because the ABVs are a bit low (except for the IPAs and the stout) hence the flavor suffers a bit. I thought that the Toes in the Sand Citrus IPA was done well, and it was my favorite of the bunch. Besides the guest taps (including ciders) and bottles/cans there is a full bar and some wines offered.
The food was typical pub fare and was done nicely. We enjoyed our selections. Given the low ABVs of their beers, the flavors suffered a bit, so that was disappointing. I'd come back here just to drink the IPA, but I'd also have to try their other beers in order to decide if the beers would a reason for more future visits.
