I drove out to Pe Ell a couple of weeks ago to visit Jones Creek. They are a bit out of the way, but worth a visit if you're out exploring on a Saturday.
The taproom is pretty small, with about 6 seats at the bar. The rest of the seating is all outdoors, although a big chunk of it is covered and shielded from the wind. The inside is cozy with dark walls and wood accents; it's clean and welcoming. My bartender was one of the owners, so clearly had a lot of knowledge about the beers.
On my visit they had 8 beers on tap plus a seltzer. The styles were interesting: a kölsch, a s'more stout, ESB, IPA, a Brett blonde, Irish red, barleywine, and gose: kind of all over the map. The red and ESB were quite good, and the kölsch and IPA also both solid. The gose was a blood orange nectarine cinnamon concoction that was interesting; not bad, but perhaps not a session beer.
I'm definitely going to try to make it back to Jones Creek one of these days.
