My son had brought me growlers from this place (he lives two blocks away) but yesterday we stopped in for my first time there. It has a decent décor and a great Cleveland Heights location, with a surprisingly big patio, lots of TV, etc. My beef is with the loudness level. I could not comfortably talk with the person sitting next to me. It was way too loud.
The brew quality was outstanding. Between us we had an Irish Ale (malty and authentic), a pilsner which felt pretty German but not very aromatic, a double IPA (nice and juicy), and a coffee stout. All were good. The food was all a cut above many of brew pubs I've been to. Service was just right.
I probably won't return due to the noise level.
PS (2020) My son brings growlers and crowlers now and again (I've been sitting on a gift card for a while too). The latest is were citra hopped blood orange AIPA at 7.5% ABV - nice, and unique, and a nice dirty blonde that disappeared very quickly at our Father's Day get together.
