Deep veiled brown and copper color with dense activity. Slightly creamy light brown 1 finger head in a goblet, lasting around 5 minutes, with poor legs and swirl reaction but good lacing. Flavors of raspberries, wild berries, roasted barley, coriander, Belgian yeast, and herbal hops. Silky medium body with moderate carbonation. Medium strength finish, delicate fruitiness with mild spices and leafy hops. It's an accessible mellow Dubbel boosting decent freshness. Unpleasant metal feel on the first sips, but it slowly fades away after a moment, so the alcohol feel is present but not overly boozy. Lacks a bit of character, mostly a fruit beer. Overall good quality craft.
