Bottled and drank on my lunch break at work
Pours a jet black body with small remaining splattering of tan head
The aroma is in line with my expectation, malt soda
There is a small element of malt there but there is some genuine roasty stout too
Thin but cmon for an alcohol free to be expected

Very dark with a brief head. Chocolate and roasted coffee on the nose. Very flavoursome, with coffee bitterness, smoke and a hint of burned. Smooth, charcoal aftertaste. Moderate carbonation. Fairly thin body, but not overly so, and much fuller than many low alcohol beers.

The colour is dark warm brown, almost black. The finger thick head is pale brown and airy; it sinks down quickly leaving no lacing on the glass.

The smell is dry with roasted/burned malt, cocoa and a hint of rubber.

The dry haste is roasted/burned with passing clean bitterness, a hint of smoke and some dried fruits. Medium body. Growing cocoa/chocolate and some bitterness in the smooth aftertaste. The long clean finish got notes of pumpernickel.

The carbonation is medium strong; the many small bubbles are semi-smooth and long-lived. The liquid is at the same time semi-thick and light.

Most probably the best low-alcohol beer I have had. Great stuff.
