From a can. Pours a dark amber color with a few bubbles that dissipated quickly. Smells of malt and raisin. Lighter body. Malty flavor with a honey or raisin sweetness. Nice

Allowed to warm from fridge for 3-5 minutes before pouring into rounded-bottom glass mug
Look: dark amber color, with 1/2 finger light tan head that quickly disappears
Smell: Sweet malt and honey
Taste: sweet-forward, with taste of honey and light crackers. Faint, mild bitterness, with a sweet, white fruit aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Fuller body, with light effervescence on the tongue. Minimal residue
Overall: A good amber, albeit a little too sweet. Could have had a better balance with the bitter bites and the less sweet malts. The mouthfeel had a refreshing fullness and an initial breadiness that i appreciate.

CAN:
Uninteresting hop profile (generic herbal and floral hop notes). Has a bready amber malt backbone. Lacks any toasted malt character. Faint chestnut. Scintillae of toffee and caramel...maybe even plum.
Medium-bodied. Hides its ABV fairly well. Smooth. Wet. Filling.
A drinkable but forgettable amber ale. I wouldn't buy it again.

Very nice and flavorful amber. Poured from a can into a chalice. Beautiful reddish brown color, brief head decent lacing. Caramel and fruit smell and taste. Some dates and a bit of smoke. Very nicely hopped for a hint of bitterness. Enjoyed it and would like to have it on draft.

Rich amber appearance. Great nutty aroma. Best amber beer in the US. No question
