You know the great American hang out place where you can go just to hang out? This place is better.

It's a big facility. It's located on what I guess used to be a farm, and it has a lot of outdoor space that is very nice during the summer. They have live music almost every day, and on the weekends they'll have several different performers like an acoustic guy during the day and then a rock band to rock the house in the evening. In the winter the band will play inside the brewery which is not very big, but there is a lot of seating right outside the door, and you can still hear.

The main building is like a bar. They have beers on tap. It's a microbrewery, and the beers that I've tried are good. They also have a small kitchen that serves the typical American night out food, pizza, wings, ribs, nachos, etc. The food is not that good, but it's good for keeping your fingers busy while you enjoy a good band, or a lousy band like the one we saw.

They also have food trucks that come by. One is called the Gringa, and it serves some type of tex-mex or something. Another one serves I think smoothies and ice cream.

What I like about this place is elbow room. You don't have to be cramped into a tiny bar or brew house. You can sit outside and breathe the country air and watch a band or just sit there with some friends joking and jiving.

Ok, first of all, if you are going to visit, this is not just a brewery - it is a "destination". This place seems well thought out and is centered around live music with the brewery being a core component - like the anchor store of a traditional mall. The brewery is tied into various food options as well as a well set up stage (Farm Brew LIVE). The entire concept comes together as beer, food, and music.

It comes together pretty well for a weekend visit. They are definitely open more than the weekend, and have bands bands more than three days a week during the summertime - not sure how they'll scale back when the weather doesn't cooperate. There are multiple food options, and most of it looked good, but we only grabbed a pretzel.

Specifically the beer, the brewery was offering multiple [India] pale ales, a cream ale and light lager, a couple Belgian-influenced ales, and one imperial stout. There were a few others (including a Marzen), which gives the consumer a fairly decent set of options. The quality was decent, with most of the offerings staying true to style though perhaps staying safe for the wide-ranging crowd that was there when we visited.

Definitely worth a stop on the weekend if you're in more of a festival-like mood. If you want to just sit and enjoy a beer and chat with the brewery crew, this likely isn't the place to go. But if you're looking for decent beer and a bustling outdoor little party, you could easily do worse.

this is more than just a brewery or brewpub. this is like Disney complex - brewery building, BBQ stand, outdoor music venue, Barn with higher-end restaurant (to be opening soon), outdoor seating areas.

Ate dinner and had a couple beers. You order beers and food at the bar/counter and they bring food to your table. mostly salads and pizzas. they only had 8 beers on tap - 5 flagship beers and 3 experimental beers. So not a huge selection for such a big place. The two beers I had were decent, but the pizza I had was just okay.
