Tasting room in small commercial building on the outskirts of town. Large open basement room with small bar on right side of entry that seats about 6 with about a dozen tables spread about the room, a separate event room and outdoor patio. 20 plus beers on tap. I had the Cropduster and Frost Warning both were ok. Friendly bartender.

We visited the Omaha Thunderhead tap room on a Saturday night from about 9:00 till closing at 11:00. There was plenty of seating, good laid back scene and crowd, cards and games for people to play. The place was clean and a decent lay out. Staff was nice and knew the beer. The beers are hit and miss - a few really good ones and some that were not great representations of their style. None of the beer had flaws or were undrinkable, just missed the mark a little for me. They had some really good ones like the Russian Imperial Stout and the Double IPA, which the bartender rightfully said was more of a barley wine (it was a really good barley wine). Overall a nice place that I’d visit again.

The tasting room is in the back of a building in an open mall. The room is fairly bare bones, but does have two sections (and apparently can host events). They have games and cards for entertainment while you sit and enjoy their beers.

The beer list had 19 options the day we stopped in, along with a couple guest taps. The selections ranged from pilsners and wits to IPAs and a couple stronger ales (though most were under 10%). The selection on the lighter to mid-SRM scale was pretty solid, with brown, amber, and pale options. The darker end was a little more sparse, but there were a couple offerings.

It wasn't too busy, but the bartender took an effort to give us a sampler, ordering the glasses as he suggested they be sampled. He stopped by the table we chose to check up on us twice while we worked through them. Most beers were solid, with about a third being a bit above average, and only one or two requiring a quick chug to get down.

To repeat, this place doesn't wow you with ambiance, but does offer a nice variety of solid beers.
