After spending a few days in Belgium we found the Amsterdam beer scene to be a bit disappointing by comparison - until we found Foeders! Smallish bar with 33 taps of mostly Belgians and Dutch crafts and a bottle list that included some Cantillon and 3 Fonteinen selections. Service was knowledgeable and personable. Drafts were poured in brewery specific glassware. Overall a great place - would most definitely go back.
Foeders, a small bar just outside of the centre of Amsterdam. Most people visit this bar because of the excellent selection of belgian lambic and geuze. They carry Bokke, Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen, de Cam, Antidoot, Tilquin and a lot of other bottles and ofcourse you can find a lot of interesting brews on tap. Sit down and enjoy the atmosphere, throw your peanut shells on the floor and have a laugh with friends. Personel is always friendly and happy to help out. Say hi to Yuri!
A small cozy bar worth seeking out in Amsterdam. Most people seek do so just to slay some Bokke, Antidoot and such. Which is a shame because the tap an bottle list is always up to par with lesser known high quality brews.
The bar is quite small, but if you can grab a seat you'll find friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
