Great little place in an Akasaka basement.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff (believe it is a husband and wife), fantastic Belgian bottle selection with an English menu. Sadly, the food menu is not in English, so I had to rely on suggestions for food (ended up with mussels and frites, which were average).

Bar was way, way too hot to sit at, even in October (don't think they have A/C or good ventilation) and I almost left before realizing that the other side of the restaurant (with 3 or 4 tables) was a much more reasonable temperature. If it's not crowded, take a table.

Virtually the entire beer list is Belgians, with lots of stuff I'd never heard of. I grabbed a Rochefort 8, De Dolle Export Stout, and a Cantillon 100% Organic Gueuze, but I could have gotten a lot more obscure. Owner is very knowledgeable about beer, and his English is OK. Most of our conversation consisted of saying names of beers we liked and then smiling and nodding. Friendly and attentive service from start to finish, however (note that there was only one other couple in the bar the entire time I was there).

If you can find this place in the maze-like back streets of Akasaka, it's worth a visit if you're into Belgian stuff. Definitely if you're from North America, as there's a lot of stuff I've never seen here.
