The vibe rating really isn’t fair as it is difficult to have a vibe during the virus situation, but I over this place. Great selection of excellent beers, first rate food, and outstanding service. The drafts are varied and high quality and the coolers have a wonderful selection of beers from throughout the world. Looking forward to my next visit with great eagerness!

An amazing find for Beer Folk! The Thistle is a new place (just opened in December.) 60 TAPS of pure craft selections not to mention a wall of coolers with bottles / cans to stay or go. This surpasses anywhere else I've been in the area and equals some of the best in the country. (However, a bottle selection should always improve with time.) If you want something to go from the taps... there is a crowler service. Flights are available as well as pints, half pints and tulip pours for the wide selection of "big" brews. Tasters were quickly offered. Management & staff are obviously craft beer knowledgeable. They were quick to offer beer conversation and selection advice upon prompting. The food is outstanding, we lucked into Oyster Day / Night and took advantage of that sweet delicious deal. As it turned into a six hour session, we also nibbled on the pretzel knots w/ jalapeños and later tried the pork belly tacos that were exceptional. There's a neat little laid back entry lounge with comfy seating and a beer library, an awesome massive marble bar but the main area is still a little cavernous. I'm sure that will improve with time as well. In a nutshell... this place is great with even greater potential. Truly looking forward to getting back over there!
