Very small brewery and pizza place in Ruston, Louisiana. My daughter is a student there at La Tech Univ. Clean but small interior, we walked through to the patio area in the back. You get to walk past the tall, maybe 200 or 300 gallon stainless fermenters. Everything was neat and orderly. The patio are is a great space but would be much better in the Fall or early Spring. It is already very hot there and the flies were miserable. They list 6 different brews on their menu but only had 4 available. But that was ok, I tried all 4 and they were very enjoyable. I really liked the cream ale and that was a first, I’ve never liked any in the past. The IPA was also very good, they exaggerated on the IBU’s but I didn’t mind. The pizza was very good, all homemade, great crust. Ruston doesn’t have a lot going on but this place was great. If you are traveling across Louisiana on I-20 stop by Utility brewing you will be glad you did.
