This is just too drinkable at 10%. There is no doubting this Thomas.

330 ml bottle, Firmabier - Pours dark brown with a slight foamy tanned head. Medium carbonation. Smell - Roasted malts, slight yeast. Taste- Light sweetness, dark stoned fruits, caramel notes, light alcoholic feel with dry aftertaste. Nice winter warmer.

Dark brown with two fingers of frothy beige foam. Smell of caramel, dark fruits and grapefruit and flowers from the aroma hops. These flavours continue in the taste, with some toffee and malts in the mix. Taste is a tad too sweet for me. The mouth feel is soft and smooth, probably oat doing its thing here. Good beer, would have been great if it was a little less sweet. I like the quad meets west coast IPA-touch though.

Dark brown pour with little head. Smells of dark fruit, grapes, prunes, caramel. Tastes like dried fruit - figs and especially raisins - caramel, prunes, dark grapes. It has a slight metallic feeling and a harsh bitterness in the background that I can only describe as super-bitter grapefruit without the citrus part. Soft mouthfeel with a harsh metallic and bitter aftertaste, which I did not detect the first time I had this beer.

Pours hazy bourgundy with 2 finger golden head, nice retention. Smell - lollipop, apple, caramel, citrusy hops. Taste - candy sugar, dark fruits, caramel. Nice hop finish. Excellent beer for sipping.

Don't like the Jopen glass choice. Beer is really good, though not so complex for a quad. And pretty sweet, smell is awesome
