Notes: We started off this series of hoppy rye ales more than a year ago. We’ve now reached the most powerful, a DIPA loaded with concentrated Mosaic Cryo from Oregon and Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand. The result is like fresh squeezed hop juice, tropical, fruity white wine, herbal dankness. The hop bitterness and malt sweetness balance with flaked rye providing a lusciously smooth body

Pours hazy with 2 finger head that stays, incredible lacing. Beautiful.

Aroma is mango, sauvignon blanc, and dankness.

Taste is ripe tropical fruit, mango again but with a weedy flavor, although dialed back a bit from the nose. Nice herbal Nelson character in the mix. Finishes creamy, thick mouthfeel, very smooth.

Overall, a world class and super drinkable IPA from Sapwood. The best I've had from them so far.
