Imperial Oatmeal Stout with Coconut and Vanilla Added
A rich dark fudgy beer with mounds of toasted and untoasted flaked coconut and Madagascar vanilla beans to balance the roast. The flavor is big and the body is syrupy thanks to flaked oats and English caramel malt. A dessert treat for the cold nights ahead!

Can pour, 2023 edition; This baby pours black and thicc. Chilled, the nose only surrenders oatmeal and hints of chocolate, picking up some coconut with time. Flavor is light on coconut, body is full.

16 ounce can poured into a Tulip.
Canned 11/18/22
Topped with a big three finger head. The reddish brown foam is highly persistent and leaves a thick ring of lace on the choke point of the glass. The beer is near black but looks clear going in. It leaves brown residue and foam on the glass when tilted.
The nose varies with each whiff, chocolate, vanilla, dark sugary booze and oatmeal. Coconut comes out in the super malty tasting, along everything in the nose. Sweet and a bit roasty the bitterness is very low. As the notes from the can state, it is “dark and fudge”. The full body is warming and may be the most creamy and viscous I’ve ever had. This is a big league mouthfeel.
Really good but definitely a cold weather dessert sipper.

Pours a very dark color with a generous dark tan head and lacing
Aroma has generous chocolate, malt and vanilla hints
The taste follows the nose with a silky well balanced chocolate, malt and vanilla flavor
A medium bodied decently carbonated beer
A very well balanced Imperial Oatmeal stout

Really well made stout with a nice balance of hops and sweet additives. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with coconut.
