I tried from draft...very good "west coast IPA!
I say "west coast" but that is a positive!
A very refreshing, non-heavy ipa with low octane, perfect for summertime drinking!
I live in Durham ,NC(very near to RALEIGH) but if you find this GET IT!

Golden color, perfectly clear, this is the clearest NE-style IPA I’ve ever seen. Dank hop aromas featuring grapefruit, mango, and passion fruit are very nice.

The taste features the grapefruit, and the mango and passion fruit spice the beer up. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry. Really well-executed, IMHO.

08/27/18 on bottom of can, best by 10/30/18 on label.

A: Slightly hazy golden amber with 1-2 finger oatmeal colored frothy head with good retention and thick lacing.

S: Big guava, pineapple, and passionfruit aromas abound with soft slightly sweet cracker malt aroma. Secondary hop aromas include pine, resin, grapefruit, and leafy black tea.

T: Flavor is amazing, a “balanced” IPA, hop-forward for sure but a decent dose of pale maltiness to offset. Grapefruit, passionfruit, pineapple, and guava dominate but there are also leafy, grassy, resiny notes, all cut with a more than noticeable crackery, slightly sweet pale malt component. Bitterness is medium-high and sharp.

M: Light-medium body at most with even carbonation and superbly dry finish with just enough tackiness.

O: Extremely impressive beer. Hits a ton of right buttons in terms of hop and malt intensity, flavor and aroma palate and excellent feel and finish. I will be grabbing quite a few more of these before I exit the Cary/Raleigh area. One of the best beers of the year for me.

Super clear, light gold with a fluffy white head. The head disappears quickly and leaves only a spot or two of lacing behind. The papaya from the mosaic hops dominate the nose for me. There is also some grilled onion and citrus. The flavor is lightly sweet and fruity with citrus and papaya. The onion is there as well. Finishes bitter and there is a decent carbonation that stings the tongue a little and adds a creaminess to it.

Recently renamed Seven Saturdays IPA, this one pours a crystal clear orange-gold color with a moderate white frothy head. Poured from 16oz. can less than a week old into tulip glass. Some lacing but nothing crazy. Smells hoppy with the Citra and Mosaic hops, maybe a little fruity with grapefruit and mango coming through. Taste follows the nose from hops to citrus. A nice balance of sweet and bitter. Overall this beer was very very good. It was not what I had expected but I am becoming a fan of R&D with each new beer from them I try.
