Restrained bitterness, unrestrained hop flavor and aroma. Bold and intense, yet delicate flavors of ripe oranges, citrus, and tropical fruit.
Brewed with English malt & yeast and massive whirlpool and dry-hop additions of Citra and a blend of Pacific Northwest Hops.

Quelle surprise! And I'm not Francais. Perfect balance front to back and not too boozy. Better execution than Insight which is crafted with love. Best find of 2020 from an insurgent brewer. Hope this is a shelfie definitely a fan.

I first tasted this with a group tasting.
Good, but drinking a colder can alone changed my opinion of this beer.
Golden color with a 2F head.
Excellent aroma of citrus and grape.
The beer has a hoppy character, but the fruity taste is not dwarfed by it.
A good balance between the hoppy and the taste.
An excellent NEIPA.

On-tap 11/19/2021 at Jillian’s in Somerset, MA, served in a snifter glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large foamy white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains floral hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus and tropical fruits that are followed by a strong but not over-powering floral hops bitterness. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, decent kick, good representation of style. This is a solid and well-balanced IPA to drink for a long time.

This is my favorite beer from Timberyard so far. There is a bit more dankness (in a good way) than I'd expect from something that lists Citra as the primary hop, but they do use a blend of other hops. A well balanced and very drinkable NEIPA. Looking forward to more good beers from Timberyard!

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Luke's in Plymouth for about fifteen dollars. My first brew from these guys. Started off ok, but the carbonation becomes overwhelming.

Lovely aroma of citrus and mango. Looks like a juice bomb but drinks much more balanced. Pleasant backbone of piney bitterness and a clean finish. My first time trying Timberyard but definitely a winner. Well worth returning to!

Best beer you can buy in a store currently. Need to make my way to the brewery at some point for sure!

After having enjoyed cans of Hindsight on 3 separate occasions recently, I'm convinced it's the best New England IPA that I've tasted this year. Seems to have the best combination of malt, hops and fruits to bring about a strong IPA without what I consider to be the overpowering sweet taste of many of the newer brands hitting the market over a period of many months. 6.9% ABV seems perfect for this type of product. I'll be looking for Highlight whenever I travel through its normal distribution area which, at this point in time, seemingly doesn't include NH.
