This pours a fuzzy copper and has a nice head and some sticky lacing. For a Pale Ale, the hops are surprisingly detectable in the nose…then some mild malt. The flavor has a nice mild malt center with a bitterness that falls off almost as soon as you notice it. The whole feel of this beer is extremely clean and refreshing. This is a nice beer that I could have a few of. Notable Midwest Pales: Goose Island, Two Brothers, Three Floyds, Emmett’s?!...Yes.

Pours a chill hazed amber orange.

Strong caramel malt notes accompanies piney/grassy and citrusy hop aromas.

Pine, grass, citrus, and caramel malt.

Light-bodied, medium carbonation.

A decent beer, but not much more than that.

16 oz Cask Conditioned tap in an Imperial Pint

A - Slightly cloudy, could be chill haze, amber color with a one-finger rocky off-white head.

S - Very floral and fruity strong hop aroma with a strong pine-y and citrus aroma to it. Crisp and light but intimidating.

T - Hoppy and bitter to the extreme. Huge floral hopping with no malts evident. Any malts are totally overpowered by the amount of hops in this beer. Dry and bitter finish.

M - Probably one of the most bitter beers I've ever had (not that it's a bad thing) Light and crisp with a medium carbonation bite to it and an intensely bitter finish.

D - For the style, it does well but its one of the most bitter non-India pale ale pale ales I've had. It's pretty refreshing but the bitterness is a little much.

Served in a nonic pint glass at the brewpub.

Part three of my Pint Night Waltz through the brewpub. It pours a clear red-orange topped by a finger of dirty light cream foam. The nose comprises pine, caramel, orange peel, and light toffee. The pine is quite the blast to the 'strils, baby. The taste holds notes of pine sap, greens, flowers, light caramel, and grass. The body straddles the border between hefty light and light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry, sticky finish. Overall, a very nice pale ale, though I think a bit more balance with the blasting hops would make it really damn good. As things stand, a touch too hoppy, but not so much as to make this unenjoyable. Good times.

Poured a dark amber with a light brown head that left a decent amount of lacing. The hop aroma hits you before the nose is within six inches. Clear citrus with hints of pine. Very pleasing.

Taste is a rich malt excellently balanced by the hoppy finish. Fills the mouth with flavor.

They were out of growlers or else I would have gotten one. Very drinkable and one I will return for.
