Crystal clear, light gold colored body; excellent carbonation; fine head, frothy, sticky, and lasting; light rings and spidery fingers of foam descend the glass. Very nice smell; malty; biscuit and cracker. Fine malt flavor offset with a mild hop bitterness; well-balanced flavor throughout. Medium body; gently warm.

This beer was cracked open cold and slowly enjoyed over about 90 minutes. All in all, it remained well-balanced and nicely flavorful as it warmed up. A nice sippin' pilsner.

L-Beautiful pale gold color about 90% transparent with nice white tight foam. Little lace as it settles.
N-Cooked barley cereal note, along with a bit of green and lemon notes.
T-The hops are wonderful in this beer. Tangy lemon light bitterness rides on a slightly sweet malt background. Good balance and interplay.
M-Clean with a good medium mouthfeel and slight slickness through the middle then a dry finish
O- A big winner in my tastings. I like the light sweetness and good barley cereal character and love the hops. Not too astringent or bitter like some Italian Pilsners. Repeat buy and well worth seeking.

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Pale golden , one finger foamy head, chunky lacing. Grainy aroma, biscuity malts. Bready malts in the taste, crisp, dry. Smooth, nice texture, enjoyable.

Lighter golden body, one finger white head. Mild grainy pilsner malt, mostly dominated by Nelson spiciness, not so much the tropical fruit, but more of the herbal and floral spice. Lighter bodied, good carbonation, fairly solid italian pilsner take.

Can to becher pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking bright yellow translucent color. Small finger and a half's worth of white foamy head softly gliding off to leave some messy lace.
The aroma smelled like the last time I had one of these so-called "Italian pilsners" and I believe it was by Oxbow. This seemed loaded up on "hop oily danky creamed corn to grassy qualities." I mean I like it for me, but this is not a German pilsner in any sense of the style.
The flavor copied the aroma fairly spot on with that leading creamy sweet grainy/maltiness. Then that grassy creamy hop oily aftertaste and somewhat dry.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation with some prickliness. Finishes crisp with some hop oils.
Overall, as an Italian pilsner, well, this is only my second one that I can remember having, so I guess it's as good as the last. I'd have again preferably for me but I would say there's much more for me to learn about this style.

Well, this one pours pretty light. Like, I’m thinking Michael Jackson after his latest skin procedure “light.” Smell is hella adjunct like those big boys - BMC, and then oddly enough, also white wine. Taste is pretty bland. Like, going to go see your girlfriend’s bestie’s poetry recital without sparking one up first “bland.” But that’s ok, you know, because all I was looking for in this beer was a palate cleanser that wasn’t offensive. It’s like nailing a barmaid after your girlfriend dumped you and not getting a STD.
