Cloudy, yellow color. Big, white head. Passion fruit, citrus, dank hops, and melon in the aroma. Soft, juicy, and moderately sweet taste with hoppy bitterness at the end.

A bit hazier and darker than the regular version. Big tropical and citrusy hop aroma and flavor. Medium bodied and lightly warming compared to the regular version. In this case bigger does not mean better.

from a 4-pack picked up at Big Head's in Missoula, MT
16oz can poured into a Ben's Bottle Shop nonic pint

P slightly hazy gold/light orange w/ a1f white head; quick recession; looks good
N soft but pleasant aroma of stone fruit, tropical notes, and bananas
T follows the nose with some milk sugar sweetness in there as well; med stone fruit and tropical notes; thought it was gonna be a bit more robust, but good nonetheless; bright, tasty, and super drinkable
Mf med to med-full bodied w/ med-high carb
O pleasant- another solid offering from Mountains Walking; as far as their DIPAs go, I'd give the edge to Cloud Curtain, but this is pretty good stuff nonetheless; would have it again

somehow i have not reviewed the original grazing clouds, swore ive had that a few times, one of their most popular, but i guess not, so no comment on how this bigger more hoppy more hazy version compared, just safe to say this is wonderful and among the best recent hazy beers ive had, sick to find it on tap, its very impressive liquid. dense and real hazy, but not that milky or heavy, and not thick to drink really for what it is, ive known thicker (thats what she said), its pale orange, has a frothy white head on it, and looks the way these are supposed to look. big dry hop on this, motueka pops in it, a varietal ive gotten much more familiar with recently, citra and galaxy as well, a glorious mix in killer proportions, fresh as can be too, peak ripeness on tap. bigtime green melon, green grape, ripe pear, white peach, honeysuckle, fresh coconut, and lemon bar, instantly appealing and distinctive in both aroma and flavor, no falloff from one to the other, and just so fresh. interestingly not that oily for being this hoppy, and with very little bitterness, which makes it almost drink like juice. pineapple juice from the can, orange juice from concentrate, super soft though too, majorly oaty, balanced and dry for what it is, impressively approachable in this style space. it makes me think there has to be a hop product in it, if this is all from pellets its epic. lighter in body than a lot of these, average carbonation on the palate, and a cleaner than expected finish, nothing green, no burn. late coconut, hash, and lemon sorbet. one of the best mountains walking beers ive had to date. now to get me a can of the original...

16oz can pours out a hazy bright straw-color with a bright white head. Lots of unripe fruit in the nose, impressions of stone fruit, apricot, melon, white wine grapes...crisp and clean, lemon-lime citrus on the palate, some earthiness, pineapple, floral and well carbonated. Good but not great.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Canned on 12/21/20. Bought it from Tavour.

Pours very hazy whitish-yellow with a small dense head, moderately carbonated. Smell is fairly mild, mostly unripe tropical fruit and citrus pith.

Taste is brighter, tropical juice, pineapple core. Maybe some melon rind.

Mouthfeel is medium, almost creamy. Overall, pretty good, but not blown away.

A: The beer is very hazy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lime and basil-like herbs are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but has strong notes of gooseberries that particularly linger into the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England IPA has an interesting and unique blend of aromas and flavors from the hops.

Fantastic hazy dull deep golden look with a decent cream colored head. Scent is just pouring out of this can right from the crack open. Smells like a pineapple and tropical juice bomb. Flavor is all there; juicy, slightly dank and sweet with just a touch of bitterness. Bitterness and some heat does build on this one. I may like this more than most. Almost creamy feel with enough carbonation, what’s not to like here?

Taster at brewery. Milky yellow pour, small head, solid lacing. Subdued fruity and malty notes, silky smooth texture. Slightly tangy, bitter finish.
