I guess this is supposed to be basically a double version of their regular Tin Sky IPA, including doubling the hops and increasing the ABV. I feel like at that point, they could've just changed the name of the beer entirely, but I guess the hop combo was good enough that they still wanted to associate it with the Tin Sky name or something. Anyway, yeah... this is chock full of Galaxy, Nelson, and Mosaic hops and I am pumped about it. I've had this brewery's Grazing Clouds and Peanut Butter Chocolate Dessert Cart and both were quite good, so this seems like it'll be quality as well.
The pour initially kinda threw me off, as the can gushed slightly upon popping open the tab. As I slowly poured it into my glass, the liquid built up an opaque sunburst-orange color with a massive head of bone-white foam that stuck around for a good chunk of time (maybe five minutes or so at about four solid fingers) before slowly settling to a half-finger with great lace and solid legs. I was a little worried this was over-carbed or maybe infected or something, but I don't think it is anymore, now that I've put it to my nose...
...wow. This is saaaaturated. Full disclosure: I bought this against my "better judgment" as it's about five weeks old. I had noticed the store I got it from only received it a few days ago according to a social media update they posted, so I mentioned it to the owner and he said he honestly didn't even check the date but agreed that seemed a little weird. He urged me to give it a shot anyway, and here I am, with my skepticism firmly shattered. The nose here is superb. Very bright tangelo and guava with lots of juicy passion fruit, yuzu, and lime, with hints of gooseberry and light mineral-y tartness from the Nelson. I'm impressed. Not only does this smell super great, it's also five goddamn weeks old. I've had at least five IPAs recently that have fallen off waaaay sooner than five weeks, so these guys must really know what they're doing.
Flavor is similarly awesome. A face-punch of bright, vibrant tropical citrus with lots of specific elements ranging from tangelo to passion fruit (as the nose led me to believe), but with some jammy blueberry/raspberry from the Mosaic and some aspects of dankness and even some soft spice. I love that this sorta toes the line between "bitter" and "juicy" with a lot of cool little notes in between the two. I would definitely keep this in the fridge with some amount of frequency if I could get it more often. Now I want to try it fresh to see if it's just weirdly-green when young or if it's somehow even better than this!

Luminescent peach colored body; opaque; incredibly thick, creamy, white head; fat cotton balls and veins of foam cling to the glass, rocky. Fresh citrus smell; orange with grapefruit pith. Very bitter taste; notes of biscuit and oats; boozy. Heavy mouthfeel; velvety; sharp acidity; alcohol burn.
Beauty exemplifies the looks of this beer as well as fresh citrus on the nose. The taste is bold, bitter, yet appealing to the senses. The beer feels a little biting and hot, yet also satisfies.
Served at 57.6 °F; CANNED ON 06/15/21

A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down but consistently left a short head covering the surface and lots of lacy rings of bubbles around the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of stone fruit are present in the nose along with notes of pineapple and hints of mango.
T: The taste has flavors of stone fruit along with notes of other tropical fruit, such as mango and pineapple. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and very juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England IPA has a lot of complex aromas and flavors of tropical fruit hops.
Serving type: can

Decanted and shared from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Greenport Brewing ha' pint taster; canned on 04/22/21, code TNS188.
A: Pours a cloudy, yellow color (think white grapefruit juice) with one finger, white head, solid rim plus retention, and sheets of complex Belgian lacing evident all the way down the glass.
S: Fruity. Aromas of white grapefruit, pineapple, and lime predominate with barley more and more evident as it warms.
T: Semi-sweet with palate basically following the nose closely, although pineapple and lime greater. The fruit grain elements are nicely balanced with the bitterness, which almost becomes evident after the swallow. Minty on the back end, too.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Tingly in the mouth.
O: Another fantastic offering from Mountains Walking. Enjoyed by the fire on a cold, wet Memorial Day weekend..

Really nice dull golden and hazy with a thick offwhite head, I’m already impressed. Although the scent is a bit, I said a bit less potent than I was hoping, smells like a juice bomb! Sweet, bitter citrus and dankness all play a part in the flavor, not bad. An almost creamy feel and good carbonation for the style round out this winner. Slightly less bitter and slightly more sweet would really make this brew shine.

Delicous 16oz canned 3/22 poured into a nonic. Pours out with full-on juicy haze and a creamy white head with good lacing. Pungent and tropical on both the nose and palate; Mosaic and Nelson abound with dankness, berries, mango, green grapes, white wine, pithy grapefruit, minor orange, citrus rind, creamy body bolstered with that oat presence is nice. A really good DDH NEIPA.

16oz can from Tavour. Pale yellow, hazy, patchy head. Aroma is sharp, bitter hoppiness, light citrus. Taste is mostly grapefruit peel, oats adding a creamy texture and a little sweetness. Dry bitterness remains on the palate.

A one trick pony brew here. Dank, and potent, but those attributes are where this beer ends. Was expecting more from these guys on this one, as I've had better beers from them
