Pours opaque gold colored with a one finger sillky head that settles to a film but has nice sheet lacing.
Aroma is on the sweet tropical side with orange and pineapple notes, but citrus dominant. This is a strong smell that wafted over from a few feet away and hit my nose strong. Very nice.

The flavor also has strong citrus notes as a hop base but not so much pineapple. I get more of a blend of mango and nectarine. This secondary hop flavor is strongest up front but begins to fade in the mid-taste. Malt is fairly weak but there is a lot of flavor imparted - feels like a medium bodied ale. Again, great job in this department.

This one is very soft with a thick, pulpy mouthfeel. Bitterness is light but makes an appearance in the finish.

This is a fantastic NEIPA - deserves the high rating. Nice clean and full flavor, great mouthfeel. A winner all around.

Picked up as part of a mixed 4 pack as put together by the Global Beverage Warehouse team in Ellsworth, ME for $4.25. Canned on 8-2-19; consumed on 9-2-19.

Beer poured a cloudy orange with an okay white head that dissipated quickly.

Nose is a nice blend of orange and mango with some pineapple.

Taste is a good sized pale malt base that is light of body that combines nicely with orange, mango, and citrus. Finishes with a nice balancing rind and pine finish; 6/10 on my bitterness scale.

Mouthfeel is light and refreshing, like drinking a fresh squeezed glass of cold juice.

Overall a tasty, easy drinking delight that is highly quaffable!

16oz can dated 7/16/19.

Pours cloudy gold with an inch of white fluff. Decent retention and lacing. Peach, orange, grapefruit, melons, and mild lime in the nose. Medium bodied with a creamy, soft mouthfeel. Ripe tropicals on the palate and quite juicy. Peach, mango, pineapple, and grapefruit with zero malt and a minimal bitterness. Finishes with plenty of tropical fruit and some warmth on the throat.

Juice bomb lovers will love this beer...
Perfect haziness, not too opaque - look
Flat fruit smell...intensity of fruit is suppressed....smells like ripe uncut cantaloupe rather than a bouquet of fresh fruit.
The taste is well balanced, fruit forward, lack of bitterness but enough to balance the beer. Good yeast with minimal linger. The taste followed the smell...great but flat finish. I like it better than a sweet finish.
Feel....second only to treehouse. Carbonation lacking (compared to an Austrian pilsner)...but soft mouthfeel very similar to treehouse.
Overall: bissell brothers and treehouse as the standard, this DIPA is crushable at 8% -not boozy at all. Great introduction to the girlfriend that doesn’t like beer or IPAs. I am blessed with proximity and access to the reputed best of the best. This beer is one tier away from the best of the best.

Definitive Float is DDH NEDIPA that pours a beautiful hazy orange yellow with a half finger sticky white head that leaves a thick ring of lace as it slowly settles. 4.75

Smell on Float papaya, pineapple, vanilla, mandarin, mango, and the smallest amount of grapefruit rind. 4.5

Taste Float is a tropical juice bomb with everything from the nose upfront with some grapefruit and vanilla in the bold sticky finish. 4.75

Mouthfeel Float is big, creamy and soft on the tongue, coats the entire palate, and at 8% drinks bigger but really drinkable. 4.75

Overall Float is an exceptional Milkshake NEDIPA that has a serious wow factor. I love what these guys are doing. 4.5

This has potential. I love to color and the taste is good but it lacks head retention and there’s something about it that’s missing. Maybe it needs more feel / body. I think a version 2 with attention to body, head, mouthfeel could really hit one out of the park.
