The only other review is perhaps not truly representative given the circumstances. On my evidence it is much better than a D. Amber colour, small head, muted aroma, rather dry bitter taste with muted malty fruity components - a standard English bitter - clean, fresh and drinkable.

Toffee, buttery, some shortbread or something, sweet, slippery mouthfeel, bland, no fun. There was also little bitterness to speak of, and it was a little sweeter than i was hoping for, a bit below average i think, but not a total loss (Cask GBBF 03')
