Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a nice red/copper colour with a hint of bronze. Decent head with a ton of lacing.

Smells quite hoppy, apparently this beer has hops sourced from all around the commonwealth (New Zealand, Canada, Australia).

Very hoppy on the taste as well, though the hops seem quite unbalanced. Hops make it fairly citrusy and grassy. Seems to get nicer and more balance as it warms slightly.

Overall a fairly decent beer, a bit unbalanced at times and also quite unique tasting. Would be a nice drinkable for those hopheads.

500ml Bottle:BBD 19 Apr 2013. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard 7 days before it's BBD.

Slight haze to my golden beer with a large foamy, white head: carbonisation bubbles rising throughout the tasting.

Pleasant blend of flavours, hops first with the biscuity malts taking over mid-way through the sip, which in turn gave way to a semi-bitter dry hop finish.

Most likely the best Diamond Jubilee beer I've had so far (one more in my stash).

Brewed fer our liz II and 'er Jubilee

Copper bodied and after a fair old white foamy head.

Hops on the nose, very clearly and barley and horse manure and brown sugar (shit with sugar on it, go figure lol)

A lot of hops on the tongue mixed with toffee mixed with some muted fruit(gooseberry??) all the time warming to a peppery bitter finish.

Quite a mouthfeel for it's strength nice low key carbonation.

Not quite a royal treat but not far off.
