As the other reviewer said, Two Tides is a must visit when you are in Savannah. The converted two-story house is indeed a cozy environment for a tasting room. I don't know if they make all of the beer on the premises, I think they must have another area somewhere because they make a heck of a lot of beer. There were many choices (although for me personally, too many were high alcohol contact, 7% and over). My husband and I settled on 2 hazies, they were the flagship "6 foot" and an IPA call"Citra". Very friendly servers and overall vibe. They must be doing well because the young bartender said they are starting to distribute quite a bit in the area. Good for them, in the middle of the pandemic!

I really liked the place, but the vibe just wasn't there...

A very unique taproom indeed, located on the second floor of the building they use (the entire first floor contains all of their brewing equipment) when you get to the top you find yourself as if entering someone's home. Except, that home has a decent little bar with several rooms to go to.

Apparently, I got there at just the right time as I was able to belly up to the bar and choose their 11th Anniversary IPA (which was very tasty, BTW). However, trying to find a place to sit was a whole 'nuther matter. There are several rooms you can go to, but each room was already occupied by family and friends of the different groups who were attending the location at that particular time and day. So, walking in, finding a place to sit (among strangers who knew each other) was awkward to say the least. The place doesn't lend itself well to the weary and lone traveler - it's best to come here with a squad (as the kids nowadays say...)

This spot is in old Savannah. Duplex turned into a brewery. Tasting room is on the second floor. Bunch of cool rooms with games like pinball and what not.
Servers were very friendly
Had a great Togo and tap section.
Check this place out if you like beer and are in Savannah.

Well outside the tourist district, upstairs in an old (1920s?) re-purposed house, this is one of the most unusual taproom locations I've ever been to. They did a really nice job turning the old living space into a cool taproom and at least on the relatively quiet night we visited it worked really well with a cozy vibe. The beer is a breath of fresh air compared to the disappointment I've come to expect from craft beer in Savannah in the past. Very IPA heavy, but they were well done and the two sours on the menu were nice as well, though nothing was truly standout. Very promising considering they seem to have only been open 6 months or so at this point, definitely a new bright spot in the historically sad Savannah beer scene.
