Who drinks pineapple wheat under the sea?! This classic American Wheat beer was hit with a healthy dose of pure pineapple, giving off a sweet taste that'll remind you of a Hawaiian breeze. Perfect beer to go with a beautiful summer day.

I'm trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured a slightly hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had grain and pineapple notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base with pineapple and bread presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

On tap at The Brass Tap, Cedar Falls, IA. Served in a snifter. Pale yellow in color, slightly hazy, with a white head that left some pretty lacing. Pineapple and tropical fruit up front on the nose and palate, along with light wheat malt, light sweetness, and a bit of tartness. Light in body, with a crisp and clean finish. Overall a very good beer and an easy drinker, perfect with light fare on a summer day.

Cloudy, yellow gold. 1 finger of head that receded leaving a ring and a small foam island in the center. Very minimal lacing more like wine legs.
Smells of pineapple (duh) but the fruit with the skin more than the processed in syrup out of the can.
Taste follow the aroma - straight forward.
Fullness of wheat missing from the feel. Carbonation helps somewhat.
Not a bad beer. Probably better in warmer temperatures or climes.

Pours a clear straw color. 1 finger frothy white head. The head retention is good, and there's nice lacing on the glass.
The nose hit me as I was pouring - a nice pineapple aroma hit me. Up close I get the same thing. Nice pineapple cut with a hint of "wheat" - banana, and cloves.
Taste - Like the nose, however the banana and cloves are up front, then the pineapple really kicks in hard.
The body is decent. The pineapple does linger in my throat a bit.
Tasty and refreshing. This would be a great beer for a hot summer day.

Can courtesy of basaywhat as part of bif.
Cloudy orange w/white fluffy head.
Orange Pineapple wheat nose.
Same with taste, but strong metallic presence.
Medium refreshing mouthfeel.
Overall: would be basic/solid without the metallic off-tastes.

Can from John’s poured into tulip glass. Nice head. Canned pineapple on the nose. Solid flavor, pineapple and wheat, new style for me.

Pours a slightly hazed gold with 2 fingers of rocky eggshell colored head. Pretty good lacing & below average head retention

S: Some pineapple & grassyness

T: Follows the nose, limes & plenty of doughy wheat & a little grassyness upfront. More pineapple, lime & some dryness as it warms. Finishes a little dry with lime & pineapple

MF: Light/medium body, fairly firm carbonation

Not bad for what is is, drinkable , but not one I would buy again ( if feasible )

This is pretty good. It is fruity but it still is a beer. Not much bitterness. Quite refreshing.

Aroma is pineapple/mild papaya, hint of sweetness and wheat. The flavor is pineapple, wheat/malts, a hint of papaya, fruit and a mildly sweet/slight vanilla finish.
