Pours a very cloudy, almost opaque white/golden hue with a thin white head on top. Not a whole lot of nose, but notes of yeast and light wheat can be detected. Slightly sweet taste is accented by the tanginess of the German yeast and the light sweet malt. Medium body is good for the style. On a nice spring day like today, the perfect session beer.

Appearance: Hazy, yellow body with a creamy white head.

Smell: Faint aroma of lemon-pepper and a hint of butter.

Taste: Lemon-pepper taste with a mild sweetness. A bit of butter, a pinch of salt, and then it's gone.

Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.

Drinkability: Not much to this one, nor is it too enjoyable. There're (somewhat) better beers to be had here.

On tap at Cannon Brew Pub, 10/18/10.

Appearance: A pale light golden straw hue, with very little else to say about it - largely devoid of carbonation, devoid of head once it arrived, and nearly entirely devoid of surface foam, side lacing, and foam collar ... I don't expect it to put on much of a show, given the style, but a little something would be nice.

Aroma: Light lemon notes and mildly zesty orange zest compliment a soft, slight wheatiness. Crisp, bright, and golden, though not particularly memorable.

Taste: A pretty dry APWA, with a quiet amount of biscuity and wheaty malt underpinning a nonetheless decidedly mediocre offering of citrus, mostly orange, though with a few lighter flourishes. Slight spiciness and a few green fruit notes are buried in the mix.

Mouthfeel: Soft, lightly done, and dry enough that it's never sticky or thick, and with enough carbonation that it's lively without being erratic (as is always the possibility with overly carbonated beers that are well-attenuated).

Drinkability: Sure, as far as APWAs go, but again lacking in the flavorful bite that makes me want to come back and take another sip or order another round.
