Hazy golden colour, with a thin creamy head that holds for a while and leaves a great lace. Aorma is spicy and fruity. maybe some coriander and camembert rind. Full body with a good carbonation. Taste of fruits, spices, ginger. And still reminds of camembert. (No, I haven't eaten camembert today). Good one, but there's something I miss, maybe not too balanced, I can't tell for sure.

A: lots of floating yeast particles that are being tossed around by the rising carbonation, creating a sort of beer snow globe. yellow gold, with little head.
S: Copper. metallic, hops are in the dirty/grassy direction.
T: The intial taste is along the lines of a german hell bier but then it becomes creamy, yeasty, slightly sweet and like orange, sort of in a bock direction.
M: fairly smooth
O: Sort of a tripel but an outlier.

Reviewed from notes I hastily took. Hazy orange-brown colour, medium carbonated with a medium thin texture, very district aroma, lightly bitter taste, you cannot really taste the 8,5% of alchol and that’s a good thing.
I have to find this one again.

I enjoyed a 0.3l bottle of this at In de Wildeman in Amsterdam on 02OCT12. Cost was €4.10.

My tulip glass contained a medium golden colored offering. It was a touch muted and cloudy, with a creamy, rocky, off-white/tan head. It ebbed back slowly with nice lacing left behind. Nose was subdued, with some green fruit, like pear and apple, present. Had a good, medium body, and was mostly smooth, with only light prickle hitting the tongue.

Flavor was a bit crackery, with a smidge of sweetness and candi sugar noticeable. Pear and green apple were here as well, along with a hint of mango. The finish was a bit dry and chalky, though some melon appeared here also. A nice Tripel, indeed! Prosit!
