Poured from the 0.75l bottle into a original Skuumkoppe glass.
Prior to pouring rolled the bottle horizontal to distribute the yeast as described on the webpage.

red orange body with coarse carbonation, head is only slightly beige with coarse and medium bubbles of 2 fingers that reduces to a stable few millimeters.

smell of banana, more fruity esters and yeast, quite pleasant

has a sour undertone to it that is quite unique, some banana, nice malty sweetness, towards the end rather dry and quite bitter for the style.

medium creamy feel on the tongue and a bit carbonation

Not really your typical Hefeweizen. Remember this to be even more sour on tab. The suspended yeast definitely does it some good by adding the creaminess. Smell is nice and taste is a bit strange for the style, but I do like it most of the time.

Brrrr. Beer tasting isn't always fun. This is a heavy overrated beer. It is really bad. Why doesn't anybody say so?

Looks very bad. Trouble, without any head. And it isn't the glass.

Smell is not appearant. The sour, duffy smell warns for the taste. But beer tasting is tasting, so I must drink. Sour like something is wrong.

This beer has nothing to do with whitebeer / wheatbeer. It is cursing to compare it with Dunkelweizen.

The mouthfeel is also bad. Headache beer.

Never again in this lifetime.

Colour is brown, with a decent creamcoloured head, ok carbonation, good lacing in the glass.

Smell is very appealing indeed: very fresh, clear orange, a bit banana, defenate floral hoppyness, and also some spicyness/clove.
Taste is a bit more spicy than the expected fruityness. It has a clovy and peppery bite to it more than the smell indicated. biscuits in the background.
The wheatcharacter comes through in the aftertaste: agressive and lasting bittersweetness.
Ok drinkable. It's not too high abv, but the alcohol is present and noticable

It poured cloudy and dark amber with a nice, creamy, dense head of off-white foam that dissipated rather quickly. The nose is sharp and yeasty with slight hints of clove, fruit, and banana. The body is light, round, rich, and appealing with low carbonation and hints of bread and malt. The sharpness that was on the nose is not evident on the palate, which is smooth and easy. The body is medium/light. There is a slight sweet lingering with suggestions of bitter orange marmalade. It would be a perfect summer beer, but tastes great on a rainy and windy September day. It provides very easy drinking; however, it is not a typical Dunkelweizen. Perhaps that is why they label it Specialbier! I would seek this one again.

beautifull colour, amber, almost orange.

slightly troubled look, little head (skuumkop) but it could be the glass.

the smell is a little pale, a touch of fresh sour and a hint of seasalt (or maybe that's me wishful thinking, this beer coming from one of the small islands in the North Sea)

A refined but not complex taste, almost fruity in the start and a friendly bitter at the end. Nice, easygoing.

Started off right from the fridge, couldn't wait, got a lot nicer after letting it warm up.

Skuumkoppe (foamhead) is a nice balanced, creamy beer. Somehow I think I can even taste the salt of the sea.
Nice!

This 'donkerwit' or darkwhite beer pours a amber color with little head and a good amount of carbonation.

Smell was not very distinct, some wheat grainy notes and a fair amount of yeast smell, but not like a witbier or weizen.

Taste is fresh, wheat like and sizzling of carbonation. Some caramel notes and a bit sticky on the lipps. The yeast did not give a lot of character, certainly not a witbier/weizen taste. Very low bitterness.

This beer does not have the dryness and yeast profile of a dunkel weizen and is more a fresh summerbeer, rather than a dark wheat.

A strange brew. Too sour for a weizen. No characteristic weizen aromas.

Pours a unfiltered amber copper color.
Smell is not strong but has a malt hint to it.
Taste is a sweet fruity, floral with a malt finish
A pretty good beer that is easy to drink but has character it is a full flavored beer that is hard to describe. If I had to call it anything I'd say it is half German Dunkel and half belgian wit.
