A: Pours a relatively clear medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint amber + medium golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a medium sized finger thick cap in the center surrounded by a large patch of medium thick film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrus/orange and tropical/mango hops over the top of light aromas of biscuit + caramel + toasted malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel + toasted malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit zest, pine, citrus/orange and tropical/mango hops which impart a light to moderate amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly soft/fluffy mid-body with a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. While the aroma was not as pronounced as I would have expected (or desired), this beer delivers some really nice hop flavors and a solid mouthfeel.

Look - straw, murky, small white head that didn't last, no lacing
Smell - spicy, citrus, strawberry, herbal
Taste - peppery, passion fruit, strawberry, bubble gum, herbal
Feel - medium body, well carbonated, spicy bitterness
Overall - Peppery spice in the smell and taste really comes thru strong. There's some citrusy flavors I was picking up like passion fruit and strawberry. I also taste bubble gum. Good spicy bitterness on the finish. If you do a beer rotation like me then this should be your last beer as it's a palate wrecker. The peppery spice just sticks to the taste buds. Pair this mutha with Time of the Season by the Zombies.

16 oz can (thx LJ) with a very recent canning date stamped on the bottom: this is less than a week old. It's fruity and somewhat juicy. It would seem juicier if the body was a bit fuller.

Picked up a single from the Blue Door Bottleshop in Hendersonville 2-9-23 for $5.00. Canned 1-2-23; consumed 4-6-23.
Beer poured a chilled gold with a very nice white head.
Nose is nice, notes of melon and citrus are present.
Taste is a light pale malt base in which fresh melon and orange flavor the beer. Finishes with a nice rind bitterness; 6/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing.
Overall a nice hybrid IPA. Another fine brew by the talented brew crew and Edmund's!

Pop the top and a citrus nose explodes from the can. Unique looking pour--straw yellow typical of oat based brews. Not much head to speak of. Nice complexity with a citrusy orange-lemon bite. Has some sinus clearing effervescence. Looong, dry finish with an almost vegetal closing flavor. Solid.

From a 16oz can dated 8/9/22 into a pint glass. Bonus points for filling this can ALL the way to the top.
Pours a pale light golden yellow (not quite opaque, but trying to be) with about one finger of white head. Pretty crappy retention and lacing.
Smell is citrus-oranges. Disappointingly one-dimensional.
Taste is like the nose. Oranges, quite one dimensional. Maybe some ever-so-slight, nearly undetectable bitterness on the back end of the sip. Feel like I'm drinking weak orange juice.
Thin, soft mouthfeel. Low to medium carbonation. Very light bitter aftertaste.
Ratings say folks like this one. Found it disappointing. In a sea of NEIPAs, there's nothing standing out about this one.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy goldenstraw with a half inch head; good retention and splashy lacing
Smell: Papaya, pineapple and grapefruit tones
Taste: Papaya and pineapple forward with a growing tropical aspect; through the middle, the grapefruit arrives to bring a more West Coast aspect to the finish with a tingly bitterness
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A nice, bright NE IPA with a nod to the west
