16oz can from Draggin'Balls76

Poured into Speigl glass.

Deep jammy raspberry/blackberry color with a pink head of 1 finger. Very nice looking.

Both salty and sour aromas - blackberry, raspberry, salt, mineral, and jam. Slight raspberry vinegar.

Flavor is mildly jammy but mostly sour and salty, very much in the berliner territory. The blackberries and raspberries add a nice jelly complexity to what would otherwise be a simple mineral profile. Lingering sourness and salinity.

Feel is crisp and clean, would be great on a summer day.

Overall although the fruit would have been long gone by the time it heats up in these parts, I wish I could have this on a hot day. Very nice quencher. Maybe I'll sit in front of a heater with a blanket and and a snowsuit :-)

L: Had this on-tap at Edmund's Oast, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark, burgundy red color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a thin, off white, foamy, fairly long-lasting head. OK lacing.

S: A solid aroma of berries, yeast, and an acidic quality.

T: Tasted of a moderate amount of wild yeast (present throughout), lots of raspberries (the dominant flavor), some blackberries, a light sour cherry quality, and some other dark fruit. A sweet and sour flavor that's easy to like. The blackberries - a mild flavor anyway - play second fiddle to the raspberries, but it manages to work. Quite tasty.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.

O: An interesting wild ale. Well worth a try.

16 oz can poured into willybecher glass no canned on date.

A: almost no head whatsoever the body is a beautiful maroon cherry color with a murkiness to it.

S: Bursts with raspberry, blackberry, and hints of strawberry wheat cherry and light vinegar.

T: This is off the charts with the raspberry and blackberry it even finishes with that blackberry acidic bitterness. Not much sour here though and slightly sweet.

M: medium to fuller bodied has a good bit of cling to it.

O: It’s absolutely delicious I don’t know if I would call it a beer but it tastes divine.
