Appearance - The beer poured a golden orange color with visible carbonation and a white head.

Smell - The flowery tartness of passionfruit was well captured in the nose.

Taste - The passionfruit was rich and tart in this sour. The fruit profile was long lasting, leaning more tart than sweet by the aftertaste. There was not much of a fade.

Mouthfeel - The body was thick enough to lead me to believe there was fruit puree. Carbonation still made its way through.

Mouthfeel - Passionfruit makes this beer a winner.

I don’t love the look of this beer which is rather murky, dirty yellow pond water in appearance.

But the strong level of passionfruit on the nose and medium level of passionfruit on the palate make for a very nice beer.

Tropical passionfruit notes combined with a pleasant lemon juice and white vinegar acidity and tartness.

Canned on 06/19/19.

Really great opaque gold color. Some soft white head stirs up on the pour, but quickly settles completely into the beer without any lace retention left behind.

The nose is all tart, zesty passionfruit. Some very subtle undertones of grain and yeast, but this one is basically all tropical nectar on the nose.

Bursting with abundantly tart, sour passionfruit. There’s a lot of pineapple present as well, but if you just added a good level of acidity and malic acid to a carton of fruit juice, you’ve got this beer right here.

Light-bodied golden sour ale. A puckering sour quality and a very present level of acidity that’s not too overwhelming. The carbonation is low but sharp, and left behind is a touch of tannic dryness akin to eating white grapes.

Tart & fizzy passion fruit juice with alcohol. That’s basically what this is. Perfectly carbonated. Stellar. Just a delicious kettle sour. Enjoyed with JoJo at the brewery on Labor Day!

16oz tallboy can, comp sample from the brewery.

Cloudy pale amber hued brew, lacing leaves quickly. Big mouthful of passion fruit with the smacking tartness backing it up, just enough tartness ... it stays drinkable. Good balance, low hopping, & the passion fruit really shines. Don't get me wrong, the sourness is there ... its just at the right level.
