Worth the wait. This place was tentatively supposed to open last summer. Great addition to the Wildwoods - excellent centralized location, if a little traffic-ridden. Though it's a relatively close drive away from Cape May Brewing and a few other newer breweries in the area, the thing that'll draw to this place is the terrific food and outdoor area with regular live music, not to mention it's about a three-block walk to the boardwalk/beach. It's nice too that there are a few other bars and restaurants within walking distance if one wants to hop around.

Spacious joint with a large main room and long bar downstairs. To the back and upstairs is another smaller bar, nestled into the corner. I sat there; bar seats about 8-10 people, but there are several plush couches and chairs in this upstairs area which, along with the dimmer lighting, give it a more intimate, lounge/club feel. A third bar is found outside, to the right of the building, where the bands play. Ample space in each bar area for groups visiting.

The beer is all fairly solid and runs along a typical brew pub theme of IPAs and ales. To echo the sentiment of an earlier review, it surely will be interesting to see how and to where the brewing develops as they have a fairly sizable brewhouse that also looks small enough that they can knock out some experimental brews as they're establishing their core offerings. If they can keep even half the volume of summertime customers during the off-season, they can still run through a lot of beer.

The food was pretty killer. I had a salad called the Isle of Man that was loaded with so much bbq meat that it took 10 min to find the lettuce leaves. Proportions be flipped. Very tasty, had leftovers. My brother had a 'BBQ Yard' platter with quarter serving of pulled pork and all the fixins and he had more than enough. All in all, a stacked menu that from what I've been hearing is the main draw to the place so far. Looking forward to going back soon for more.

Our bartender was personable and enthusiastic we quickly struck up a conversation that lasted well over an hour. He was knowledgeable about the beers and the food, which is always a plus. The other staff we encountered were all helpful. The place seems to have a buzz about it with it being new and busy. Hopefully that vibe continues into the fall/winter.

Visiting during the day, the place was crowded downstairs, but the upstairs attendance was a bit sparse. I can imagine this place getting swamped during the evening as the beaches empty. So one may want to decide ahead of time what kind of crowd they're willing bear. At any rate, this is a must-go when in town.

Awesome new brewery in Wildwood, NJ. Killer food, awesome vibe, and tasty beer. The southern style comfort food is top notch, especially the smoked bbq platters. There are several bars to choose from, including one upstairs in a private lounge area. Plenty of outdoor seating with a cool firepit and cornhole. The beer is solid with room for growth. Looking forward to seeing how the brewing develops...
