I don't see a date listed anywhere on the can or label.

Appearance: It is a light gold color that is slightly hazy. It has a short white head with a smooth lumpy surface. The beer has very good head retention and leave some nice strings of lacing on the glass.

Aroma: There is a light aroma of mint and mango with a touch of garlic in the background. It's a soft aroma but a good one.

Taste: There is a spicy hop flavor up front with light notes of black pepper and lemon peel. The mid to back of the palate is a bit grassy but some grapefruit pith comes through.

Mouthfeel: It is a very refreshing beer with a light body and a clean delivery. There is a light bitterness to the beer which is nice. It finishes very clean and crisp.

Overall: The label on the can calls this a "NON-ALCOHOLIC GOLDEN" and for a non-alcoholic beer it does an amazing job of delivering something that is every bit as enjoyable as an alcoholic craft beer. It tastes better than a lot of competitive alcoholic beers and it is head and shoulders better than many non-alcoholic beers. I would drink it again and I would recommend it to those who prefer a Blonde or Golden ale with a slightly more hoppy edge.

A: The beer is nearly clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short bright white head that left lacy rings of bubbles and a thin film covering the remainder of the surface.
S: Light aromas of floral and citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but has stronger flavors of the floral and citrusy hops. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite flavorful for a low alcohol beer and makes it taste like you are drinking an light-bodied APA. There aren't really any "off" flavors.

12 oz can poured into a shaker.

Crystal clear gold. Lively carbonation. 1 finger of creamy white head.

Grapefruit, orange, guava, honeydew, and honey.

Sweetened grapefruit, candied orange, lemon wedges, and guava nectar. Balanced honey sweetness with hints of biscuit.

Light bodied, crisp, clean, and lightly bitter.

Thoroughly surprised by how good this is. Tastes like a well balanced American Pale Ale.

I was in Europe during Octoberfest and on recovery days found some of their N/A beers. This is one of the first N/A beers in the states that has that type of taste that makes you feel like OK, its noon time I can have a beer and still keep going through my day. This is a rating taking into account this is in its own category of low alcohol.

I think it is the best tasting non alcoholic brew I have had. Has a nice creamy head. Smells like a golden ale. It has a rich yellow clear color. The body is full. In comparing it to other non alcoholic brews it's excellent. As a stand alone beer its middle of the pack. Excellent if you are a runner and want that refreshing beer after a workout. Liquor stores regularly run out due to its popularity.

I've had limited experience with non-alcoholic beers, but I've generally found them undrinkable. This, on the other hand, tastes like actual beer. Cracker malts with an assertive hops profile. If I didn't know this was non-alcoholic, I'm not 100 percent sure I could figure out what was missing although I think I'd know something was. It's a great option for when you want a thirst quencher that's only 50 calories and won't impair you in any way. I could see buying a case if I felt the need to do a Drynuary.

Athletic are producing the best n/a beers I've tasted. This smells really convincing - nice mellow maltiness. This doesn't quite follow-through on the taste, but it still has more complexity than the otherwise indistinguishable n/a beers (which typically all taste like the most average light lager).

4.5/5 for low alcohol beer. It's always healthy to take a week or month away from booze, and these guys make it easy! I agree that Run Wild by Athletic is slightly better, but this is still damn good. No wonder why my local grocer can barely keep it in stock--it flies off the shelves!

Excellent beer, especially for an NA. I drink alcoholic beers but am making this part of my rotation. Weekday beer. Perfectly hopped golden ale with refreshing taste. Only better NA is its sister IPA option also by ABC but it’s close and I see both for different occasions

Very good for an NA beer. Actually has a hoppy aroma and taste like what I would expect from a golden ale. I just wish there was more carbonation. Seemed flat. Thumbs up tho for an NA.
