12oz can poured into a tulip

A- pours a deep brown color with a one-finger foamy light khaki head that reduces to a ring around the edge

S- roasted brown malts, chocolate, light char, peanut, a hint of caramel

T- roasty up front with notes of chocolate and coffee, followed by notes of figs and prunes. Mid-palate brings out a nutty note that comes across as almost vegetal. The finish gives more roast, with a peanut flower linger

M- medium body with medium carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns slightly creamy into the finish

O- the peanut flavor gets a bit vegetal at times, but otherwise a bold drinker for a low alcohol beer

12 oz can poured into a tulip

A- Black with a small mocha head.

S- Roasted caramel covered nuts, the caramel has a slightly burnt in the best way, some chocolate.

T- Roast nuts, caramel (again slightly burnt in the best way) some chocolate. Honestly an awesome combo of Cracker Jacks and touch of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

M- Smooth, light body.

O- It might not be as big as a beer with alcohol, but this has some pretty big flavor for a non-alcoholic beer.

Look: Dark brown and opaque. Light brown head that settles to a splotchy layer with a thicker ring around the edge of the glass. No visible carbonation.

Smell: Dusty peanuts, skins and shells.

Taste: Dusty peanuts, skins and shells.

Feel: Light bodied and medium level of carbonation.

Overall: A fine option for an N/A brown ale. Does not hit the PB spot. Although after sampling the Justin’s Nut Butter that came with this beer, I see the connection. It’s more of a natural peanut butter flavor.
