750ml bottle served in a nonic pint. From the description, this should be a Belgian IPA, not a standard American IPA (as this listing suggests), and I'll be reviewing it as such. Label says, "First Edition Packaged on November 7, 2018".

Pours a hazy amber color with a gigantic head. Lots of carbonation. Head fades slowly. I started pouring this more than 10 minutes ago, and I haven't yet tried to get a sip out of it. Smell is funky and fruity. I definitely get banana and I might get mango. Probably some grass and maybe something spicy.

Taste is unusual. It definitely has funky characteristics, and something quite oaky, and some of the spice. There's really a lot going on here. Something a little bit caramel or toffee about it, but not much. Strong grassy saison flavors.

Mouthfeel is medium to thick. Overall, good beer. If you like saisons or brett IPA, this should be a very interesting beer to try.

Poured from 750mL bottle into a tulip.

Appearance: rich orange hue with a little bit of haze and a healthy effervescence. Head is two fingers of frothy ivory foam. Attractive!

Smell: interesting aroma; bready malt, grassy hops and a hint of funk that suggests wild yeast or perhaps a particularly funky farmhouse strain. It's unusual, but it is working for me.

Taste: grassy hops, biscuity malt and a fair amount of funk. This reminds me a whole lot more of a hoppy saison than an American IPA. Overall, it mostly works, but the funk doesn't 100% play with the hoppiness for me.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a big carbonation and a satisfying creaminess.

Overall: an interesting beer. Definitely worth evaluating for yourself -- if you like funk, this could be a hit for you. My own take is that the hops fight the funk a little too much to be a really great beer, though.
