Day 23 of the 2020 Costco Beer Advent Calendar. Poured from a can into a tulip snifter. Pours golden orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of cereal grain, nothing special, but better than most. Tastes of cereal grain, very clean, plain, but with more flavor than most. Beer is light bodied and very easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, an above average beer.

L:. Pours a bright golden yellow with a small to medium foamy head and no lacing on the glass.
S:. A touch of citrus mixes with the floral hops followed by some sweet bread and a touch of biscuit.
T:. Sweet breast malt, with a note of biscuit and a touch of fruit followed by a slightly stronger than expected hop, though this still tends a touch sweet for me.
O:. Little lower carb then expected, a touch slick in the mouthfeel.
O:. A decent pilsner, not my favorite but it does get the job done.

Head production is good, although retention is a little lacking. Lively clear straw colored body.
Lovely pilsner nose, with a bright hoppiness accenting biscuity and slightly earthy malt base.
Flavor is an excellent and straight forward pilsner expression, balanced, crisp, and lively. Grass, bark, cracker, biscuit, and very light touches of citrus and honey.

Clear bright gold with a white head. Grains, flowers, grass, honeycomb, cracker, and pilsner malts in smell and taste. Taste picks up on the yeast more, smell the hops. More bready than sweet or botanical, but all present. Feel is crisp, clean, bready, and bright but short lived. Decent weight for the style. All around good pils. The wife liked it

Beer #23 of the Costco Advent Calendar.
This one pours a clear light yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like malty sweetness, sweet grain, floral hops, and possibly some diacetyl.
This isn't horrible, but it's one of the lesser entries so far here. It's got some off flavors to it, and it doesn't feel all that crisp or clean, to me.
This feels slightly underattenuated and flat for the style, with less drinkability than usually wanted here.
Like most of the beers in the advent calendar, this is fairly disappointing.

500ml can served in a big snifter. Dated EXP 2022/05. Day 23 of my advent calendar.
Pours crystal clear light golden with a big head and some visible carbonation. Smell is grassy, grainy, and honeysuckle.
Taste is medium grainy, a bit sweet, lots of grassy bitterness from start to finish. If it was a tad less sweet, I'd like it a lot more.
Mouthfeel is fairly light, smooth, bubbly. Overall, pretty good beer.

Very clear gold color. Plenty of effervescent carbonation with about a medium body. Has a slight thick grain feel that coats the tongue.
Aroma is malt, grain, bread and cracker. Following this is earthy, grassy hops with bit of mildly sweet earthy honey
Taste had a very slight sweetness which quickly was taken over by hop bitterness that lingered in the aftertaste. Drier and much more bitter than aroma hinted at.
This came from Costco beer in a box and for me was one of the better ones.

Poured a seethru golden body with minimal head and no lace down glass. Strong aroma of grassy hops, “lagerness” and some malts. A lively and effervescent beer leads to a crisp and bubbly taste, nice sweetness to balance the grassy, herbal hops and mellow out crisp finish. Pretty good pils to relax with.

A welcome newbie in Kale'sa 2020 Advent Calendar. (I recognize this ain't December, but newbies come first in my book.) Landgang has largely produced a classic pils, pleasantly so.
Landgang Looks the part, crystal clear with modest foam. Smells are mostly malt with a very faint scent of grass. In the Taste, the hops take over in mid-palate and finish quite dry. Sufficiently bubbly, it cleansed my palate to wash down more lunch leftovers.
I went on Landgang's website and could not find the English button. So I looked at lots of photos. Turns out, they are from Hamburg, the northern port and industrial center (hence the sailor on the can.) Far from southern Bavaria, Landgang looks more like an American micro-pub, a bar/tasting room, lots of community/socializing, not much food except to order out. OA, I'm glad Kalea added Landgang for more variety in brewers. After finishing the 2019 calendar, I had enough of family-owned Bavarian brewers for a while.

From the half liter can in the 2020 Costco Bier Advent Calendar, it pours a clear golden color with a large white head that lasts! In the nose, it is a bit hoppy along with the malt. In the mouth, delightfully pilsner bitter - Yum!
