"The second recipe in our LTD series, LTD 02 is a light-bodied nonetheless hella good limited edition lager that is golden colored with soft malt undertones and is nicely balanced with a crisp clean finish. It's a gold
medal winner at the North American Beer Awards and three time gold medal winner at the World Beer Championships.

Poured from 12oz brown bottle into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass. No freshness date. Purchased as 6-pack at Market Street Wineshop (Charlottesville, VA) for $9.49.
A: Thick amber with 1-2 finger off-white big-bubbled head with good retention and lacing down the glass.
S: Crisp malty sweetness with blend of noble and grassy hops.
T: Superb flavor of light caramel and mostly pale grain compounded delicately with a focused hopbill of noble and grassy, floral hops. Clean finish is a bonus.
M: The body is exceptional with firm medium body that layers on the tongue with lower-than-usual carbonation to give a creamy, soft feel that works well with the full flavor.
D: An excellent lager that I will make a point of buying more of. The combination of grassy, noble hops and light caramel but mostly pale malts leaves a perfect blend of graininess and hoppiness. A top-notch lager.

Darker than your average bock, this one comes in light orange. Way over 1" of head, good job, not too much, but came in big. Aroma was bready, neutral.
Booze seems prominent for what it is, lots of esters coming out that didn't jump out in the aroma. Mouthfeel says this is a full, thick lager.
