look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 2.5 | feel: 2.5 | overall: 3.5

Poured with a decent head that faded to thin layer rather quickly. Orange colored brew, pleanty of carb bubbles.

Aroma of grain, wheat bread, malts, citrus, and a hint of honey.

Not bad, a bit too much malt for my taste in a lager. Seems a bit out of balance, would have preferred a less sweet, crisper finish (like I have come to expect from a lager). Not really sessionable, but worth picking up a sixer to try it. It's not bad.

Pours as an orange-amber color with nice lacing for a lager. Aroma is that of malts with some floral notes mixed into it - very appetizing. Taste is malty with some floral touches and fruity overtones - but it all blends together rather well.

Mouthfeel is excellent, goes down smooth and has no aftertaste. Drinkability is outstanding. I would go out and buy this immediately as it's sadly, a limited edition. I'm hoping they'll brew more of this as it's an outstanding brew.

Hmm... I would have thought this was a helles lager, as the label states it is a "hella good" beer with no other attributes listed other than "light bodied".

Really, I think this is their Session peppered up a bit with some more bittering and some flavor hops (clean bitterness), and some more base malt and some light crystal.

Pretty easy to drink, but the aroma is not terribly inviting: basic malt huskiness bordering on steamed veggies.

For twice the price, this one gets its doors blown by its little brother Session.

Got this one from mhewes in a trade, thanks!

12oz bottle poored into a pilsner glass.

It poored a very light orange amber color, and showed plenty of carbination and a thick foamy white head that left some lacing. Smwlls of sweet malts and floral/grassy hops. Tastes like bready malts up front and some underlying sweetness to go with bitter and floral hops that appear in the middle and ride to the finish. Overall its a well done lager with a slightly heavier feel than most, but still drinkable.

A: Very nice clear golden amber, with a thick white head.

S: Malty, toasted grain.

T: Pleasenty sweet and malty. Biscuit and tosted grain. Very light hops character; just enough to balance the malt.

M: Medium body with a smooth feel. Medium carbonation.

D: Smooth, sweet and malty. Overall clean and easy drinking.

A: Pours a reddish yellow; darker than a traditional lager. Lots of carbonation finishes with a nice, thick foamy head.

S: Smells like a lager - crisp and malty.

T: Surprisingly tasty! The malt is the dominant flavor, but the hops round it out and even combine with the alcohol to leave the palate a little dry. Makes me want more!!

M: Lots of carbonation makes me want a hot dog and some peanuts. It's not great, but it fits the overall theme of the beer.

D: I think this beer suffers from an identity crisis. It doesn't know what it wants to be. Looks like a lager, smells like a lager - yet drinks like a bock or even an esb. The malt is tasty, but the alcohol seems too high for this to be a good session beer. Overall - 'B'

Poured 12 oz bottle to pint glass. Bottle labeled EB: 121407

Very attractive beer from a color standpoint. Light amber with gold highlights, the head never really showed up which was a bit of a let down for the style. Not much retention or lacing.

Smells of grains, hay, and a slight floral hop note. Initial taste is grounded in clean malts and transitions into more earthy notes, finishing with some hops and a lingering maltly sweetness in the back of the throat. Mouthfeel is quite heavy for the style which I'm still a bit on the fence. I really like the body of the beer but it didn't quite fit with expectations. Carbonation is done well and doesn't hinder the beer in any way. All in all it's quite drinkable.

P: 12 oz brown bottle. Appears to be a best by date(or random numbers printed on bottle). Cool looking bottle. a little plain, but in a good way. also says its a limited edition lager.

A: One finger head that retains well. Light amber color. Well carbonated. Little to no lacing.

S: As soon as you twist the lid off, the smell just jumps at you! Sweet smell. citrus smell, orange.

T: Roasted malt. small hops. sweetness to it.

M: Light body, well carbonated!

D: Easy to drink. lots of flavor for a lager i think. really great!

This is a tasty beer.
a: Poured a nice deep orange/caramel into a pils glass with small bubbles rising. ~2 inches of white head with good retention and medium lace.
s: Tasty sweet with honey and grain.
t: The flavor starts off as I would expect with its smell, ends a little bit dry and a little bitter (reminiscent of their IPA). Really a pretty interesting taste for me.
m: moderate-light body with similar carbonation tastes just right.
d: drinkable. I don't know if it's really "hella good" per label, but nonetheless tasty good.

Received as part of the 2008 Summer Beer BIF from thethrone. Thanks Adam!

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a standard pint glass. Three fingers-plus of off-white foamy head, which slowly dissipates to form a bit of cool lacing on the glass. Lots of bubbly carbonation, and it took three pours to get the entire bottle into the glass.

Orange/gold color with aromas of sweet caramel, some spiciness and grassiness are also there.

Not a whole lot there in the taste profile, especially up-front. Pretty dry as far as mouthfeel. Leaves a bit of a bitter hop finish on the back of the tongue.

I wanted to like this one, but I just can't get too excited about it.

Just picked up tonight, I guess it was just released. Taste is a bit more malty than hoppy I suppose, but neither are particularly prominant. Very bubbly, kindof citrusy. Iv had much worse. The LTD series by Full Sail is turning out to be pretty good, though a bit conservative it would seem. I liked the last one as well, but I would think for a limited edition series they would take more risks with some 200IBU beer or a pepper beer or something. Can not complain though, an easy choice at the grocery store.

Sampled at the HOPS brewfest in Las Vegas via a 6oz glass.

Great color, golden and orange like a german unfiltered IPA, minus some cloudiness. Robust in appearance, as if saying "I'm serious, I'm not meant to be taken lightly, and you better respect me in the morning."

Smell: Lemon peels, with a hint of coriander and some belgian sugars.

Taste: Danced across the palate like a sophomore in a rendition of the nutcracker; diverse, electrifying, stimulating. Hints of lemon and sweet cascade hoppiness, if such a thing existed. On the back end, very light gouda cheese and some base lime. very light.

Mouthfeel: Light, wet, swishy. Foamy, but not too foamy.

Drinkability: very drinkable; optimum pace: moderate to moderately slow.

I thoroughly enjoyed this beer.

Orange in color, with a very small head that recedes to a ring around the glass. Certainly doesn't look like any other lager I've had to date.

Sweet aroma, almost candy-like. No noticeable hops or alcohol. Flavor follows the smell --fruity, and a bit sugary. Pleasant enough, though not all that complex. By the end of my first one, however, I'm starting to find the sweetness a bit much. The 6.4 alcohol is hidden well.

This one is light bodied, but it is a lager, so that is expected. Could use a bit more carbonation. Drinkability is average, with the well masked alcohol and light mouthfeel helping, but the sweetness nevertheless detracts.

All in all, I've never had a lager like it, as it is vaguely hefe-like. It is a solid beer, but not one I would seek out again.

This was good for someone who isn't big on a malt finish.

Bottle bought
Poured into pint glass

Totally turned on by its SEXY color and light natural head. Color was beautiful, dark peach golden copper filled my pint glass-awesome color.

No lacing, light airy to low to no head.

Very balanced- the crisp, clean flavor and mouth feel does so well, the malt finishes balanced.

Great seasonal. Very nice served ice cold, enjoyed until room temperature. The 6.4 a nice rounded bonus. Grab a 6pack now.

the color is CLUTCH!

well done full sail!
Love the local~

l This beer has a beautiful auburn color and a fantastic starting head for a bottled lager.

s Smell is yeasty with hints of toasted hickory.

t Taste is well structured with nice malt and barley undertones.

m This lager starts out fantastic with a light body but the higher alcohol and over-maltiness make it somehwhat too rich towards the end.

d I initially fell in love with this beer but the date ended quickly.

Little head with just a bit of lacing after pouring. Burnt amber in color - clean. Not much of aroma, citrusy and a faint candy. The fruitiness (citrus), bitterness and sweetness kinda meld altogether and very soft in the palate. Pretty drinkable stuff. Will drink it again.
