A: Brilliant deep amber, 2” off white foam cap with a slight amber tint.
S: Spicy malty nose.
T: Light malts, hint of roast, gentle creaminess, smooth, finish medium crisp. Hops and malt dry it out on the finish with lingering hop and malt flavors persisting for several minutes in the after taste. No caramel flavor, balance is to the malt.
F: Medium light body and carbonation at medium or just above.
O: A well made Vienna lager.

The label on the bottle states "VIENNA STYLE LAGER", while this site classifies it as an American amber/red lager. So, I'm not sure of the proper classification of this beer (although it tastes like a Vienna lager). The label is slightly different from that depicted here (apparently a 2011 bottle), so we could just be talking marketing here. I suppose the styles are similar enough...

Poured from a longneck into a shaker pint. A moderate pour produces a snow white, frothy head that sticks around well. The beer is a pale copper color with low carbonation.

Just a whiff of DMS (cooked corn) in the aroma, but not in the flavor, which is very clean and smooth. Light toasted malt with a touch of sweetness is balanced by a good bit of spicy hop flavor-aroma. Creamy mouthfeel with a fairly dry, crisp finish.

This is a tasty and easy drinking lager beer, but with some complexity from toasted malt and hops. Well worth a try.

8/11...pours deep amber, very light layer of foam that settles out. Reddish. Rich caramel nose with malt. Taste is a higher malt concentration, lightly sweet, bready, and toffee too. Mild carbonation. Very smooth, backed with a tasty malt profile.

12oz into tulip glass.
enjoy by 10/14/14

Clear, amber red with a thick, foamy off white head that dissipates to leave a thin coating of foam and light lacing.

Lightly grassy hops with a caramel, bready malt backbone.

A tasty amber lager. Nothing particularly memorable, but a solid beer's beer.

Clear amber colored ale with a tall tan colored head.

Smell is malty with a fairly strong burnt sugar aroma. Herbal hop scent. Faint spicy aroma. Scent of grass.

Starts out mild and malty. Caramel and some scorched sugars. Hop bitterness is about at the knifes edge between low and medium.

Mouthfeel is good.

Overall not a bad malty lager. Would like a bit more hop bite but this is OK.
