This beer is not actually retired. I just had it less than a week ago. This beer is very unique. It tastes and feels like a sparkling cider or wine due to the fact they age it in wine barrels. It is very acidic and has a strong, astringent taste to it. It looks fantastic and smells like fruit, so it is very promising from the get-go. This beer had the most carbonation I have seen in a long time and I give this beer props for it being so unique. Not a world class beer, but definitely one to remember and extremely unique. Props to Rubicon for trying something different.
