On tap at Ashburn location.

Small white head, very lightly hazed. Kind of an interesting yellow.

The aroma is super light. Hint of musty malt and herbs.

The flavor, however, is full and satisfying. Musty, grainy malt and herbal, grassy hops.

Light plus body with medium carbonation coming off as crisp.

Tasty American-made pilsner.

On tap at brewery:
A light golden body allows most of the light through. The head is decent, and a medium thick ring leaves some lacing.

Nose and taste both have a slight orchard fruit aspect to them. It comes a tad fruity in nose and a bit sweet in taste. These retractions aren’t huge, but I want a more malt-driven bread and a more bitter taste feel. That said, this is my second beer with Czech Pilsner malt (Väsen RadaPils) and it is a similar beer.

So, overall there is some grass and light bread malt in the nose if I swirl the beer. There’s also a light spice. The taste has the malt up front, the aforementioned fruitiness, and a lightly mineral and grassy back end. A fair offering but won’t sway me from other local Pilsners.
